David Tennent
Executive Director, REMSA

David Tennent has 35 years of experience in the railroad
industry beginning as a front-line supervisor in the Norfolk
and Western's locomotive shops.  Mr. Tennent's career
encompasses assignments with railroad companies, rolling
stock manufacturers, government financial institutions, public
transportation authorities, and international state-owned
railways as well as owning and running his own small
engineering and manufacturing firm.

Mr. Tennent has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
degree from the University of Delaware and is a licensed
Professional Engineer.
Urszula M. Soucie, CEM
Chief Operating Officer, REMSA

As Chief Operating Officer, Urszula Soucie manages the day-to-
day administration of REMSA including membership
communication, recruitment, and retention, the monthly
newsletter, accounting, the annual directory, the scholarship
program, and supporting the planning and execution of the
Railway Interchange Conference.  Prior to joining REMSA, Ms.
Soucie worked for a Wisconsin based consulting firm and was
Research Assistant to several transportation studies.  Ms. Soucie 
received her B.A. in Humanistic Studies from McGill University in
Montréal, Québec, Canada.
Madeleine Stern 
Membership & Marketing Manager, REMSA

Madeleine Stern has an extensive background in communications and marketing, with a specialization in association membership. She manages the REMSA brand with a primary focus on member relationships, content production and social media management. Ms. Stern managed membership and brand marketing for an association representing independent insurance agents across the nation prior to her role with REMSA. She has worked on a variety of projects; including, clients in travel, hospitality and insurance industries. Ms. Stern earned her B.A. in Communications (Journalism) with a double minor in Electronic Journalism and Theater from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

Cooper Ehrendreich 
Government Affairs Manager, REMSA

Cooper Ehrendreich is the lead grassroots coordinator for REMSA, the Railway Engineering Maintenance-Suppliers Association. Previously Cooper was Press Assistant and Scheduler for Congressman Brian Higgins. His prior experience also includes policy analysis for D.C.-based government affairs firm the Bockorny Group. He held internships in the offices of Congressman Daniel Lipinski and Senator Chuck Schumer. He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a B.A. in International Trade and a minor in Political Science.
