Railroad Day on Capitol Hill 2022
Railroad Day 2022
March 9-10, 2022
Capitol Hill Washington, DC - VIRTUAL
Virtual Railroad Day on Capitol Hill is back: Join us via Zoom on March 9 and 10, 2022
Railroad Day on Capitol Hill has proven to be the single most effective way to get our industry's message to Congress. The size of the event, the geographical diversity of the participants, and the unified railroad industry message focuses Congress on our issues, and allows the industry to make connections for future advocacy efforts.
Also conducted via Zoom, Railroad Day 2021 was a resounding success with more than 260 congressional offices meeting with 475 participants. The virtual format enabled more constituents to participate than ever before, with the elimination of the travel component of an in-person Railroad Day.
We hope to be able to gather in person soon for a Railroad Day, but are looking forward to connecting virtually again this year.

- We will be holding meetings with Congressional Offices using Zoom. Railroad Day 2021 proved this is a successful way to meet with Staff and Congressional representatives during the pandemic.
- We will be spreading meetings over two days: March 9 and 10.
- You will be scheduled into Zoom meetings that are directly relevant to your business.
- You will be able to fully participate in Railroad Days, without committing to 10 hours of meetings, or a trip to Washington.
Your participation is crucial to the success of Railroad Day. You put the real-life face on the issues that matter most to our industry. When we turn out in force as an industry, we demonstrate to Congress that our issues have far reaching effects – on individuals, on businesses who employ and influence employment across the country.
Don’t miss the opportunity to join your fellow rail industry workers to help drive home to Congress the important role our industry has played as a critical workforce during COVID, our role in restoring America's economy, improving America's environment, and connecting America in the global marketplace.
