Railroad Day 2021
April 13 - 14, 2021
Capitol Hill Washington, DC - VIRTUAL
Railroad Day is ON: via Zoom on April 13 and 14, 2021.
Railroad Day on Capitol Hill has proven to be the single most effective way to get our industry's message to Congress. The size of the event, the geographical diversity of the participants, and the unified railroad industry message focuses Congress on our issues, and allows the industry to make connections for future advocacy efforts.
We have 60+ Freshmen members to educate, and new leadership to meet. Transportation issues will be in the forefront of this Congress, and these meetings will lay the groundwork for working collaboratively on legislation in the 117th Congress.
In 2021, the goals are the same, but COVID-19 dictates a different approach.
We will be holding meetings with Congressional Offices using Zoom. This has been a proven, successful way to meet with Staff and Congressional Representatives during the pandemic.
We will be spreading meetings over two days – April 13 and 14.
You will be scheduled into Zoom meetings that are directly relevant to your business.
You will be able to fully participate in Railroad Days, without committing to 10 hours of meetings, or a trip to Washington.
Your participation is crucial to the success of Railroad Day. You put the real-life face on the issues that matter most to our industry. When we turn out in force as an industry, we demonstrate to Congress that our issues have far reaching effects – on individuals, on businesses who employ and influence employment across the country.
Don’t miss the opportunity to join your fellow rail industry workers to help drive home to Congress the important role our industry has played as a critical workforce during COVID, our role in restoring America's economy, improving America's environment, and connecting America in the global marketplace.
