REMSA Officers

 

Greg Lippard has served in several management and sales roles with L.B. Foster Company over the last 25 years. He has been an active member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA), the American Short Line Railroad Association (ASLRRA), and the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC). Lippard holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont and a M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas (TX).

  

Jay Gowan serves as the Senior Vice President, Track for RailWorks. A third generation railroader, he has been working in the industry since 1994. He got his start in the railroad industry with the Ohio Central Railroad as a track laborer. After his stay with the Ohio Central, he held a sales & estimating position with Atlas Railroad Construction Company. Moving from Atlas, Jay spent five years with Hartford & Associates, a manufacturing representative company as a Territory Sales Manager. Following this position, Jay served as the Vice President of Operations at Roadway Worker Services, a welding contractor. After RWS, Jay spent eleven years with Harsco Rail as a Regional Vice President leading operations, sales and business strategy development. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a business double major in Management and Marketing.

Greg Spilker, REMSA Chairman
VP Sales & Marketing, MOW Equipment Solutions, Inc. 

Greg Spilker is currently VP Sales & Marketing for MOW Equipment Solutions, Inc. Prior to that he was the General Manager for Encore Rail Systems, Inc. He began his career in the industry 25 years ago with Nordco and held various capacities including Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Spilker remains active in several rail industry and trade organizations. Greg received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing from Concordia University, Wisconsin.

Nate Bachman, REMSA Vice Chairman
VP Marketing & Sales, Loram Technologies

Nathan “Nate” Bachman is the Vice President of Marketing and Sales for GREX since October 2014. Prior to that he served as VP of Operations since January of 2010. Mr. Bachman joined Georgetown Rail Equipment Company in 2007 as Market Development Manager and was promoted to service Planning Director in 2008. Previously, he was sales and account executive for Alltel Communications Products and Polycom, a manufacturer of wireless and conferencing technology, from 1999 to 2007. Mr. Bachman was employed with Norfolk Southern Railway from 1998 to 1999. Nate holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and a Master’s Degree from Texas A&M in Industrial Distribution.
