2024 InnoTrans Career Award

REMSA is pleased to announce that we are partnering with InnoTrans and will be sending a student to attend InnoTrans 2024, which will take place in Berlin, Germany September 24-27, 2024. The student will participate in the InnoTrans Career Award, designed to spark the interest of the future generation in rail and promote career opportunities within the rail industry. InnoTrans will introduce students to leading transportation companies, learn about current job openings and internships, and participate in various events throughout the show.

“We are thrilled to partner with InnoTrans in providing this outstanding learning opportunities for students pursuing careers in our industry,” said Rob Loomis, REMSA Awards Committee Chairman, REMSA. “REMSA strongly supports the InnoTrans show and we are happy to continue our valued partnership.”

From Eric Malarkey, recipient of the 2022 InnoTrans Career Award

"I had a great experience. I had set an itinerary that really broadened the experience for me. I got to meet with the other award winners from around the world. We attended the opening ceremony and got to hear Multiple industry leaders answer good questions about the future of mobility in Europe. I have nothing to compare to the scale of this convention: it was large. It had thousands of vendors with new and experimental technology. I can’t list a favorite thing but there was no shortage of cool stuff. We had access to guided tours and VIP tickets that not only acted as a train ticket for all of Berlin but also granted us access to the business lounges and guided tours. I got to experience almost everything. I recommend to any future students trying to get in the industry: do it now, we want people who are interested."

The Career Award includes:
• Flight or train round trip ticket - Economy Class
• Hotel accommodation in Berlin for max. four nights
• VIP card for InnoTrans (four days)
• Free access to public transportation throughout Berlin during the show days
• Access to the InnoTrans Campus which includes the RecruitingLAB, Talent Stage and Jobwall
• Daily travel allowance
• Guided career tours on-site and professional program
A Berlin travel agency will handle all travel arrangements. InnoTrans will also publish the award winners through their marketing tools.
