Urszula M. Soucie, CEM
President, REMSA

Urszula Soucie is President of REMSA and has over 10 years of experience in the rail association management space. As President, Ms. Soucie works closely with the REMSA Board of Directors overseeing association operations and managing the many programs and committees that represent REMSA member companies and the MOW industry. Previously, she served as REMSA as Director of Operations where her responsibilities included membership communications, event management and meeting planning.  Prior to joining REMSA, Ms. Soucie worked for a Wisconsin based consulting firm and was Research Assistant to several transportation studies.  Ms. Soucie received her B.A. in Humanistic Studies from McGill University in Montréal, Québec, Canada. Ms. Soucie also serves as Treasurer to the board of the League of Railway Women (LRW).

 
Heidi Baker 
Director of Trade Shows & Marketing, REMSA

Heidi is REMSA’s Director of Trade Shows and Marketing. She previously was the meetings specialist for an association in the mutual funds industry, responsible for marketing conferences and events, and also worked as an event coordinator for trade show and customer hospitality events in the IT staffing industry. Heidi has a B.A. in Government from the University of Virginia, as well as a masters in sports industry management from Georgetown University, concentrating in strategic marketing. 


 
Michael McGonagle 
Vice President of Government Affairs, REMSA

Michael joined REMSA in 2022 and is responsible for managing the association's grassroots events. He has worked with the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC) since 2018, managing its budget and daily activities, planning and organizing the annual conference and other major events, and assisted with the advocacy efforts. His extensive experience coaching lacrosse has contributed to his success in working with members, stakeholders and other industry professionals to advance the mission of the NRC. Michael grew up in the D.C. metro area and completed several internships on Capitol Hill. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing, with a concentration in Professional Sales, from James Madison University.


 
Celeste Gelber
Meetings and Membership Manager

Celeste has joined REMSA as the Meetings and Membership Manager. Previously, she was responsible for planning and managing meetings and events for multiple convention centers and hotels, including locations in both Alaska and Maryland. Her diverse portfolio of clients over the years ranges from small private businesses to large-scale corporations, and everything in between. As a California native, Celeste earned her B.S. in Event Planning and Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
 
Matt Ginsberg

Matt is the President and Founder of TGA Association Management Solutions LLC (TGA AMS), an association management and government affairs solutions firm engaged by REMSA. Matt also leads Tai Ginsberg & Associates, LLC (TGA), a transportation lobbying firm in Washington, DC. He is a skilled government relations professional with more than 10 years of experience lobbying on behalf of the transportation industry as well as service in staff positions in the U.S. House and Senate, on political campaigns and in political media consulting.
