Rob Loomis, REMSA Director ►BiographyRob Loomis has several years of experience serving on different committees and Boards, including serving 9 years on the Polyurea Development Association board where he was involved in actively developing strategic plans, long term planning, overseeing association committee efforts, and generating membership growth. He has been at the forefront of developing innovating solutions for tie remediation with polymer materials and state-of-the-art equipment to increase efficiency. He currently serves as Vice President for Willamette Valley Company. |

Troy Elbert, REMSA Director ►BiographyElbert first began his career with Herzog as an ultrasonic, non-destructive rail technician in 1997. In 2013, he was named as coinventor on patents covering ultrasonic phased array inspection for railroads. Troy served as Assistant Vice President of Operations from 2010 to 2016, until he was promoted to President of Herzog Services, Inc. and Herzog Services of Canada, Ltd. Mr. Elbert earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Missouri Western State University and is also American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) NDT Level III certified.

Rob Rosencrans, REMSA Director ►BiographyRob Rosencrans has been in the railroad industry for over 16 years. He previously served in several management positions with R.J. Corman Railroad Services. Rob joined Holland in 2018 and is currently the GM of Rail Services for all mobile welding, fixed plant welding and construction services in North America. Rob is a member of AREMA serving on Committee 1. He received his BBA in Management from the University of Kentucky.

Zach Hansen, REMSA Director ►BiographyZach Hansen is currently the AVP of Sales for Lewis Bolt & Nut Company. Prior to LB&N, he has held various roles during his time in the rail industry with Rocla Concrete Tie – Vossloh and Progressive Railroading Magazine. Outside of the LB&N, Zach is active supporting industry organizations including the Northwest Maintenance of Way Club (NARMC) and the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC). He holds a B.A. from Quinnipiac University – Hamden, CT.

Mike Pier, REMSA Director ►BiographyMike has 14 years of experience in the railroad industry with Nordco. Currently Mike is the VP & GM of the Roadway Work Equipment Business Unit for Nordco/Wabtec. His prior experience at Nordco includes, various Engineering roles, Director of Aftermarket, and VP of Sales and Engineering. Mike has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Certificate in Project Management. He holds active membership in AREMA Committee 27.

Eric Carter, REMSA Director ►BiographyEric Carter has over 15 years’ experience in the railroad industry. He has held management positions with Harsco Rail, Holland LP, and Geismar. His background includes new product development, automated MOW equipment, inspection and safety technologies. Currently Eric is the VP of Sales at Geismar North America. Eric has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Master’s in Business Administration.

Maggie Kukovich, REMSA Director ►BiographyMaggie Kukovich started her career in the railroad industry in 2005 after serving five years active duty in the US Army from 2000-2005, where she served on Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2004. Ms. Kukovich has worked for Progress Rail for the past 12 years and holds a current title of Director of Class I Railroad Sales for trackwork, fasteners, welding, and signals. Before joining the Progress Rail team, Ms. Kukovich had the opportunity to work for Kansas City Southern Railway as Manager of Logistics and Project Manager. Ms. Kukovich is an active member of AREMA as well as a current e-RailSafe certification holder. Maggie earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Business Management in 2010 while working for KCS.

Mark Boyle, REMSA Director Vice President R.J. Corman Railroad Services, LLC ►BiographyMark has been in the railroad industry for 15 years, all with R.J. Corman Railroad Services. He started out in the field as a Project Engineer and Project Manager from 2008 to 2017 managing special projects and large-scale construction jobs. In 2017 he was promoted to AVP of Project Management and in January 2021 he was once again promoted to his current role as Vice President of Railroad Services. He currently oversees all track/signal construction, track rehab & maintenance, and civil work for the Services company. Mark has a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky. |

Barrett Christiansen, REMSA Director Executive Owner Racine Railroad Products ►BiographyBarrett grew up in the rail industry under the tutelage of George W. Christiansen Sr. and George W. Christiansen Jr. but pursued his dreams of being a botanist and fly-fishing guide in Eugene, Oregon. He has served on the board of Racine Railroad Products for 12 years and on the board of the McKenzie River Guides Association for 9 years. Barrett recently wrapped up his presidency at McKenzie River Guides Association to make time for his new position on the REMSA Board of Directors. As Executive Owner of Racine Railroad Products, he splits his time between the office and the field with the products and people that use them. |
