Allen Goff, REM

Allen Goff has been active in the railroad industry for more than 29 years. During that time, he has held various sales, marketing, technical and managerial position
s with Modern Track Machinery, Loram Maintenance of Way, and currently PandrolUSA. Mr. Goff has been a member of AREMA since 1992 and joined Committee 5 in 2008 where he currently serves as the Supply Chairman for the group. Mr. Goff is
based out of Omaha, NE. 


Scott Commo, REMSA Director

President, Industry-Railway Suppliers, Inc.

Scott Commo has been active in the railroad industry for over 18 years. Throughout this time, Scott has held various positions in sales, marketing and management with Stanley Hydraulic Tools, the Railway Equipment Company, and Herzog Railroad Services. Mr. Commo currently works as President of Industry- Railway Suppliers, Inc. based out of Elmhurst, IL. Mr. Commo continues to be active in many industry organizations, including the Northwest Maintenance of Way Club, the National Railroad  Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC) and serves on two AREMA Committees. Scott received his Bachelor’s degree in marketing from Marian University in Fond du Lac, WI in 1997.


Nathan C. Bachman 

Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Georgetown Rail Equipment Company

Nathan “Nate” Bachman is the Vice President of Marketing and Sales for GREX since October 2014.  Prior to that he served as VP of Operations since January of 2010.  Mr. Bachman joined Georgetown Rail Equipment Company in 2007 as Market Development Manager and was promoted to service Planning Director in 2008.  Previously, he was sales and account executive for Alltel Communications Products and Polycom, a manufacturer of wireless and conferencing technology, from 1999 to 2007.  Mr. Bachman was employed with Norfolk Southern Railway from 1998 to 1999.  Nate holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and a Master’s Degree from Texas A&M in Industrial Distribution.


H. Chase Armstrong

Assistant Vice President, Commercial Development,
R.J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC

Chase Armstrong is currently Director of Sales for R.J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC. Rail Systems, Inc. Armstrong has served in several business development and sales roles with RJ Corman Railroad Services for the past five years before his recent promotion to Director of Sales. He holds a B.A. from Morehead State University. 

Gregory Lippard

Vice President, Rail Product Sales, L.B. Foster Company

Greg Lippard has served in several management and sales roles with L.B. Foster Company over the last 25 years. He has been an active member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA), the American Short Line Railroad Association (ASLRRA), and the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC). Lippard holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont and an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas (TX). 

Thomas Blechinger
President, Plasser American Corporation 

Thomas Blechinger began his career in the railroad and manufacturing industry on the shop floor of Plasser & Theurer in Austria as an apprentice more than 25 years ago. Over the years, through extensive practice and experience, Blechinger worked his way up to his current position as President & CEO of Plasser American Corporation. Blechinger holds two Masters Degrees, one in Business Administration and the other in Management. 


Chuck Ewing

Vice President, Track Services, Progress Rail Services

Chuck Ewing began his career in the rail industry more than 20 years ago. After serving his enlistment in the U.S. Army, Ewing joined Airgas North Central supplying welding gasses and consumables to the Class 1 Railway Roads as well as industry suppliers. In 2001, Ewing joined Holland as North American Equipment Sales Manager, and later Director of International Sales. In 2011 he left Holland to form EO Paton (Hong Kong) Limited and acted as president of this business until October 2014 when it was sold to Progress Rail. Ewing has been with Progress Rail since, acting initially as Managing Director of International Business and later in his current role as Vice President of Track Services. 


Rob Loomis
Business Manager, Willamette Valley Company

Rob Loomis has several years of experience serving on different committees and Boards, including serving 9 years on the Polyurea Development Association board where he was involved in actively developing strategic plans, long term planning, overseeing association committee efforts, and generating membership growth. He has been at the forefront of developing innovating solutions for tie remediation with polymer materials and state-of-the-art equipment to increase efficiency. He currently serves as Business Manager for Willamette Valley Company. 


Troy Elbert
President, Herzog Services, Inc. 

Elbert first began his career with Herzog as an ultrasonic, non-destructive rail technician in 1997. In 2013, he was named as coinventor on patents covering ultrasonic phased array inspection for railroads. Troy served as Assistant Vice President of Operations from 2010 to 2016, until he was promoted to President of Herzog Services, Inc. and Herzog Services of Canada, Ltd. Mr. Elbert earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Missouri Western State University and is also American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) NDT Level III certified.

Bryan Boehm 
President, Rail Custom Truck One Source

Boehm was the Director of the Rail Division with Custom Truck & Equipment prior to his role as President at Custom One Truck Source. He holds his degree from The University of Kansas.
