World Rail Expo 2008 BOOTH  PRICING

I M P O R T A N T     N O T I C E

Without exception, exhibitors at the convention center who have island or peninsula booths (booths at the end of an aisle), booths higher than one story, and those with covered tops or canopies are required to submit a rendering of their booth to REMSA. The rendering must include the height and width of back and side walls and the placement of large objects. Booths with covered tops or canopies and those higher than one story must include structural information and must be approved by the Fire Marshal. Renderings must be submitted to REMSA by August 1, 2008.

Convention Center Booth Pricing

Booths are sold in multiples of 100 square feet. Several 10’ x 10’ booths may be purchased to create a larger booth. For example, four 10’ x 10’ booths may be purchased to create a 20’ x 20’ or a 10’ x 40’ booth, both of which are 400 square feet. In this example, the cost of the booth is based on 400 square feet, not the cost of four individual 10’ x 10’ booths.

NEW Booth Size Requirements – Please Read before Selecting Your Booth

Exhibitors displaying large items in their booths, especially items that are solid and do not allow visibility beyond or around the displayed item because of its size and density, must have a buffer zone around all sides of the large object displayed. If the display object is over 8 feet, this buffer zone cannot be less than 8 feet from the display object to each aisle. Island booths are most affected by this rule.

REMSA has amended IAEM Guidelines for Display Rules & Regulations for island booths. Please refer to page 9 of the IAEM guide in the prospectus for more information.
