IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO HELP YOU PLAN YOUR EXHIBIT SALT PALACE CONVENTION CENTER
What Can Be Exhibited
Exhibitors can exhibit all types of products, services and equipment, including large equipment such as hi-rails, cranes and backhoes; and small items such as computers, bumping posts and track bolts. The REMSA show can accommodate it all. With some limitation, large equipment can be displayed inside at the convention center.
Salt Palace Convention Center – Inside Exhibits
The Salt Palace Convention Center is a state-of-the-art facility. Exhibits will be held in exhibit Halls A, B and C. The floor load limit is 350 per square foot, and the ceiling height is 30 feet high.
Exhibit areas and meeting rooms are fully air conditioned and heated. Utility ports for all services, including electrical, water and drain are on 30 foot centers on the floor and are marked on the show floor diagram.
All levels of the convention center are accessible by escalators and elevators, and all exhibit areas are totally covered by a sprinkler system.
The dock has a capacity for fourteen trucks and two drive-in ramps for direct loading and unloading of exhibit material.
The convention center is the exclusive provider of air and electrical service. Forms for these services and others will be included in the Exhibit Service Manual which you will receive following receipt of your blue signed Application and Agreement, booth payment, insurance certificate, and Exhibitor Cost Worksheet.
Choosing Your Booth
All REMSA exhibits will be located in exhibit halls A-C of the Salt Palace Convention Center.
Individual convention center booths are sold in multiples of 100 square feet. Several 10’ x 10’ booths may be purchased to create a larger booth. For example, four 10’ x 10’ booths may be purchased to create a 20’ x 20’ booth or a 10’ x 40’ booth, both of which are 400 square feet. In this example, payment would be based on 400 square feet, not the total of four individual 10’ x 10’ booths. Larger booths that are marked on the floor plan can be divided into small booths.
The combining of several booths or the division of larger booths may result in a new booth number being assigned to the newly configured booth. Your booth number will be written on a copy of the blue Application and Agreement which will be countersigned by REMSA and sent to you as confirmation for your records.
